About Us

Good afternoon distinguished ladies & gentlemen. The year was 2005, and with foresight, this noble organisation was birthed. I am happy that I see the pioneers here amongst us, ensuring a steady steer and smooth transitions as team 07 comes on board. Staying true to the cause, we are still advocating that oral health for children is pertinent for national development. Our contributions to strengthen existing health systems through advocacy, providing policy guidelines, and program implementation should not be underrated.

Leadership is a calling that everyone must heed, that is why I must thank you for entrusting us with this responsibility, and together we will navigate the evolving Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous (VUCA) world. As Stefan Karmas says, “best practice was yesterday, best thinking is in demand today and tomorrow”. Collaborative competency will be the watchword for Team 07. This means we will develop our capacity to work with others and focus on shared networks and meaning. We will identify stakeholders and like-minded individual/organisations, and our inherent and collective competencies will be directed towards proffering innovative solutions to current issues.

Any time we make a change and create a different future, that’s collaborative leadership in action and we are improving on our social net worth. We crave your indulgence when we call on you to take up a role towards achieving our common goals.
